Our albums are flush mount meaning that the design in created digitally on a computer and then each spread is mounted to a material which adds thickness and rigidity to the pages. This allows the pages to be easily turned, as well as ensuring that the page does not bend and put a crease on the photos that are on the page.

Our albums are also gutterless, meaning there is nothing lost in the spine. Panorama pictures across both sides of the spread are breathtaking! When you have a lay flat type book like we do, the designs can be more creative because the spine does not become a hindrance like coffee table or magazine style books.

Most importantly, the paper type in our albums is always true photographic paper. This means that the paper we use is actually professional photographic paper instead of inkjet technology on thinner paper. Photographic print paper will never smudge, smear, or fade like inkjet printed books will and the colors are more vivid and saturated than on typical inkjet papers. Special coatings to further protect the images can be applied, adding a beautiful sheen and another layer of protection to your precious heirloom. True photographic paper can be easily cleaned with a soft, slightly damp towel if buildup of oils or if something spills on it. Inkjet materials will pretty much be destroyed and the entire album could be ruined.

Finally, the most important element of the album is the cover and binding system. Below is our premium level custom designed StoryBook album with a beautiful silver satin fabric box. The cover of the album matches the image on the box, and the album measures 14×11 in a landscape format. The cover choice by our couple was genuine black leather with a photo cut out off center on the front cover. When you open the book you are looking at a whopping 28 inch wide layout because the book lays flat and there is no gutter. Multiple photos are on every page and each photo has been carefully retouched and white balanced to have a consistent look and feel.
