Sawna and Ajey are an adorable couple getting married this summer! They are having three fun-filled days of events so we met up with them for a fun portrait session in San Francisco around the Presidio. This is such a beautiful part of the city and a part less travelled by tourists compared to other places like Palace of Fine Arts. Sawna wore a beautiful red dress that really popped from the background. Within minutes we were getting amazing shots that were candid and fashion forward!
The small park inside the Presidio gave us lots of photo opportunities and the light was magical and coming at just the right angle. With the help of a reflector we were able to use the sun as a hair light and then the reflector as a fill light which gave a catch light in the eyes and filled in the shadows.
The next few spots around the Presidio were a nice mix of architecture, urban, garden, and forest. That is why I love San Francisco! You can get so many great backgrounds so close to one another.
