Alexis and Atheer are really fun to be around. The kind of couple you want to hang out and kick it with. Their friends are super fun too and we had a blast working with them at their wedding on September 24, 2010.
Their ceremony was at St. Mary’s Assyrian Chaldeon Catholic Church in Campbell, a place I shot at years ago so I was happy to be back. We went over to Santana Row for the bridal party photo shoot and I was worried about getting kicked out by security. But I was to not fear, Atheer basically knows everyone in Santana Row and no one said a thing to us! As you can see, the weather was perfect and I was running around with a steadicam in the street! Glad we had the chance to do that. The reception was at DeCathlon Club and it was fun as usual. Even though the dance floor is sort of small there, guest always get down at this venue. It was a fun party!
What is important to know when watching these videos is that I am the photographer and videographer. That means all the main photography is shot by me and all the main videography is shot by me. I can quickly go back between photo and video mode on my 5D and three assistants help me shoot when I cannot be doing both at the same time, and also help me with the gear, handing me cameras, different stabilizers, etc. I get ultimate control of the shoot so it goes very quickly with the least amount of fuss for the bride and groom.
We wish these two the best and cannot wait to hang out with them for a night on the town!
