Amy + Rishi | Ganesh Pooja and Mehndi Night

Amy and Rishi had their wedding pre-events in the days leading up to their wedding day in December over the Christmas holiday. Their wedding was amazing and our team members Ryan and Terry captured all the beauty of their pre-events.

The Ganesh Pooja is a very important ceremony to do in the beginning of a Hindu wedding. Our Gujarati couples will do this Pooja usually a couple days before the wedding, along with the Pithi ceremony in which, yellow paste is applied to the skin of the bride and groom to give them a beautiful glow.

The Mehndi obviously is a really beautiful design that the bride gets done to her hands and feet and is one of the most fun aspects of an Indian wedding. We had a great time working again with one of the countries most famous Mehndi artists, Neeta Sharma. She is absolutely incredible.

We cannot wait to share the main wedding events with you so scroll through the images below and come back for more soon!
