Today we are really excited to share Manu and Bhollo’s Sangeet night on the blog!
Virginia is a beautiful state and this was the first time we had ever gone there for a wedding. We were really happy we got to experience a new place, with new people, venues, vendors, and more.
The Sangeet took place at the bride’s home which is just a short journey from our nation’s capital. Before guests arrived we had the opportunity to capture some stunning images of this amazing couple. Manu and Bhollo are so stylish and chic. They are really fun to pose and photograph.
Manu had done an amazing job coordinating her decor and events for the evening. The atmosphere was casual with guests helping themselves to food and drinks, while enjoying music and each other’s company. There was a ton of dancing later in the evening, as well as, the bride’s Choora ceremony at the very end of the night. This was an emotional moment as the bride was thinking about leaving Virginia and her family to start her new life with Bhollo.
These moments are so powerful for us to capture because we can feel what it is like to be in their shoes. To be at this pivotal moment in life where things are changing. It is a happy time, but there is that sadness that comes with change and moving forward into this next chapter of life.
After the Choora ceremony everyone got just a few hours of sleep before the wedding getting ready started the next morning.
