We are now officially in Fall but we still have a ton more weddings to photograph and post here on the blog. One of my recent favorites is Natasha and Vishal’s wedding which took place a couple weeks ago over three days. Natasha decided to have the ceremony at her parent’s home which is located in the hills of San Jose overlooking the valley. The views are stunning and there was ample space for her mandap, lots of guest seating, and even parking in a nearby field. It was so easy for her to get ready, entertain family that was staying at the house, and basically have a very relaxed and chill experience on her wedding day!
We arrived early to capture her getting her hair and makeup done, as well as photograph details such as lengha, shoes, and jewelry. We did a ton of bridal portraits and I am in LOVE with these images. Natasha has the most striking eyes and amazing complexion. Being in front of the camera is not difficult for her so we have a ton of variety and creative images from her day.
After the ceremony we headed over to the Santa Clara Marriott where over 500 guests attended their reception. We did photo and cinema all day and even provided a live feed of video so guests in the corner of the room could simply watch the screens instead of hurting their necks trying to see what was happening during the speeches, dances, cake cutting, and so on.
We worked with some of the best Bay Area Indian vendors including DJ Bitzy, Myrium who did her makeup and hair for the ceremony and Christal Saville who did her second look for the reception. Tammy from Ajooba Events coordinated the event and Satvir from SB Arts did the Mandap. Little Tommy, my favorite horse in the whole world carried the groom during the Baraat. Her American Pandit out of southern California was Shukavak Dasa. It was a perfect wedding in every regard and it shows in this set of photos. Enjoy!
