Nilam and Anoop had both of their Sataaks in the same room, one after another, at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara this summer. In the morning, Anoop had his Sataak that his family and friends attended. After which, they did the Pithi ceremony and had lunch. Later in the day, the bride and her family entered the same hall where they held her Sataak and Pithi and then proceeded to have dinner.
This was a great idea to do the event this way because the room was set up once and then both of them could utilize it. The same priest was able to perform both rituals, and we were also able to capture both sides instead of them happening at two different places at the same time. Also, mutual friends could spend the entire day and see both sides do the rituals which was also a nice bonus.
