Punam’s Mehndi | San Francisco, CA

I am completely blown away by Mehndi artist, Neeta Sharma’s work at Punam’s wedding! She did an amazing design that was so beautiful and incorporated Ganesh, drums, a bride and groom and of course, the groom’s name hidden in there. For each letter he can’t find he has to buy her a gift!

This was the start of a beautiful four day event that spanned from San Francisco to San Bruno, to Salinas to Monterey, and ended in San Francisco. One of our longest weddings ever with over 30 hours of coverage. We are so glad we can recount every minute of it through these photos.

I love how these colors pop and the glitter sparkles beautifully in the light. The spraying of the lemon juice is also one of my personal faves that I had been thinking about for days before the Mehndi. I knew at that moment I just had to capture a shot. As much as I love posing some of my shots, I really enjoy capturing these fleeting moments that happen so fast.

Stay tuned for lots more posts of this amazing Gujurati wedding in San Francisco, CA.
