So the day before the actual Indian wedding ceremony is the party where friends and family come together and enjoy song and dance together, along with many stories and trivia about the bride and groom.
What is so nice about this, is that it allows the couple to spend many more hours with their family and friends that came from so far away. So instead of a eight hour event, everyone was around all weekend. Now that is cool.
So on this night, there was lots of South Indian musical types, as well as, Bhangra dances (of course) and many really great words of wisdom from Mukul’s relatives. It’s an early night since we will resume shooting tomorrow at 7:30am so off to bed I am!
