Swathi and Bharat’s wedding at Signia San Jose by Hilton (formerly Fairmont), was one of our favorite weddings of the year!
They did a fabulous job with the decor that was done by Flowers by Edgar and giving us enough time to capture all these great moments during their traditional Telugu Indian wedding!
We used flash to make dramatic shots, used natural light to make nice beautiful timeless shots, and a mix of photojournalism and editorial fashion to really give them the variety they were looking for in their set of photos.
Our style is inspired by our couples and we strive to make each wedding different based upon the couple’s personalities.
We love Signia San Jose a lot and are happy they have reopened, although to us, we will always think of it as the Fairmont. We are still debating if we should now go back and fix all the blog posts and change it to the new name.
For the reception, we used grids on our flashes to light just the couple for their portraits and make a nice dramatic and moody look to the images. We also like to shoot through the flowers, hanging crystals, and candles to create that visual interest in the frame.
