Tina and Alok had an amazing wedding weekend in fabulous Las Vegas and we are so happy we got to capture all their amazing events! Tina and Alok chose the Four Seasons Las Vegas, which is a hidden gem on the strip that is connected to Mandalay Bay. It is close to everything and has the Vegas feel, without being too crowded or “casino-ish”.
The night before they had a fun Sangeet night off the strip and the next morning we woke up bright and early to capture them getting ready. We got tons of great help from Dennis Silknitter at Silknitter Events, the couple’s wedding coordinator who really made sure everything ran smoothly the entire weekend. He had everything planned out for the couple and made sure all their needs, and our needs were taken care of throughout the day.
Vegas hotel rooms have lots of great features that make them very fun to shoot getting ready in. We got so many wonderful shots before heading down to the picturesque courtyard for the couple to do their first look. Nida Gazi did a wonderful job on Tina’s makeup and made her look flawless! When Alok saw Tina dressed up he was blown away! We took lots of shots of the couple, their families, and bridal party before the Baraat started.
The Baraat was probably the most epic Baraat we had ever experienced. Not just because Alok and his friends are extremely fun and outgoing people, but also because we had perfect lighting, weather, and excellent DJ’ing by 3D Sounds. These guys really know how to get the crowd going and keep the Baraat pumping. I think we had just as much fun as the guests!
The ceremony was beautiful and we loved the clean and timeless decorations Tina and Alok planned for their special day. It was very well done and lots of fun to photograph. We love very elegant decor and creating images that look “clean”.
The reception decor was equally as amazing and I really enjoyed the attention to detail by the Dennis, the couple, and the DJ!
We love these images and we loved the entire experience of sharing it with them. Destination weddings are a great way for us to go new places, meet new vendors and shoot in new locations. We look forward to seeing Tina and Alok at many more events, and as Alok would say, his wedding was “Saaa-Sick”!
