Wedding season is heating up! After this weekend we will have a wedding nearly every weekend for the entire year! We have been shooting a ton of engagement sessions and have been having a blast! Our engagement shoots are a chance for us to have fun and to try to new ideas! Sometimes we like to test near gear, new lenses, new light modifiers, and new poses. We do all this at our engagement sessions so that come time for weddings, we have everything locked and ready to go!
We met up with Chandni and Colin this week at the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park. This is a great place for engagement sessions, especially with the cherry blossoms and all this time of year. After the gardens we walked around the area outside and hit went to the De Young Museum for some shots outside before heading into the tunnel!
I loved both of their outfits! The blue dress was vivid and beautiful! Colin had great taste as well and their outfits went perfectly together. They took my advice and wore outfits that were solid and not overpowering. Patterns can get crazy especially in places like a garden that has busy backgrounds.
Natalie was gracious enough to bare the cold with me and second shoot for the session. Holding the light stand in the cold made her hands numb but the shots we got were so worth it! After the shoot we warmed up with some Korean BBQ which was awesome!
Stay tuned for more beautiful Indian engagements and weddings coming up! We are going to have a great year and can’t wait to share all the beautiful images with you!
