The post below started with the bride’s Maiyan which is where she receives paste made of Tumeric on her feet, arms and face, while friends and family sing songs and hold a dupatta over her head.
After she took a shower Neeta Sharma, the Bay Area’s best Mehndi artist came to decorate her with henna to prepare her for her wedding day. We got a ton of great shots because we were there from start to finish.
Finally, we headed down the street to Raja Sweets where her Sangeet and Jaago was held. The day was full of fun and magical moments. We love Sikh weddings and all the traditions they do leading up their wedding day. Aman is such a sweetheart and we have had some major withdrawals since the wedding. When we get to spend over 30 hours with such great people we tend to miss them. 🙁
