A few years ago I got a call from Deborah wanting to do a photo shoot. She was the girlfriend of Bill who’s daughter is a part time model and I had shot with her during a bridal couture shoot. Since she had heard good things about us she gave us a call wanting to take some photos of herself and something she could give to Bill as a gift. We did the shoot and she and Bill loved the photos. A couple years later I got a call from Deborah asking if I would photograph her wedding ceremony. The cool part was that she told me it would just be her and Bill, their friend performing the ceremony, and myself!
The day of the ceremony I arrived at their apartment and quickly noticed the amazing view! They overlook the Bay in Sausalito and it was absolutely a picture perfect day! Then Deborah came as she was out getting her and hair and make up done. We did some photos of them together and their friend who is a lawyer/judge arrived and we walked outside on their deck to do the quick five minute ceremony. For the first time in my career I signed the marriage certificate as a witness to their union. That was so cool!
Afterwards we did some more photos in the apartment before heading out to the Marina for some shots with the boats. I absolutely love those images! We all went to dinner and had a very nice time together. It was the perfect day! We are happy these two chose us to photograph their special day and we look forward to doing a big family shoot with them one day as together they have six children.
