Rajul and Samir are an adorable and goofy couple. We had a great time shooting their engagement session in San Francisco. Rajul picked Legion of Honor and Baker Beach in San Francisco for their shoot. The Legion of Honor is San Francisco’s most beautiful museum. Overlooking, the Pacific Ocean, Golden Gate Bridge and all of San Francisco, the Legion is most noted for its breathtaking setting.
Rajul wore a cute black and white polka dot dress with red shoes to match, that went perfect with her love for Mickey Mouse and disney themed shoot. Samir looked dapper in the same color scheme. They had a little disney hat with their wedding dates inscribed for their save the date photo. Although, the museum was closed, we got some great shots outside the museum and at the park.
Next stop was at Baker Beach. They had two outfit changes, they were color coordinated again, this time the color theme was blue, back and white. We think color coordinating clothes adds a nice touch to the engagement photos. Couples should consider color coordinating like Rajul and Samir did.
Baker Beach stretches a mile on the peninsula of San Francisco and is another favorite spot for engagement shoots around San Francisco. They also have these old Coastal Defense bunkers that are along the trails, very interesting historic place to explore old ruins and learn about the history of the area. We took few shots at the defense bunker area which turned out great. Next they changed into their favorite sport t-shirts and jeans, wearing tshirt of opposing teams they are fans of, which was interesting. The beach was cold but Rajul and Samir showed no signs of being uncomfortable and had lot of fun running around the beach in and out of the water which gave us an opportunity to take some beautiful natural shots.
