Rasheeda and Jafer held their beautiful wedding reception (Valima) at the Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon. Rasheeda is absolutely stunning and so amazing to photograph. Jafer was also really great and easy going. Hok had no problem shooting this event and getting some amazing images!
The day started with getting ready of both the bride and the groom. Since the wedding is done more or less in private, this reception is the big day where the couple goes all out. They had an amazing portrait session before heading inside the ballroom for their grand entrance. The program included speeches, performances, a cake cutting among other things.
We really photographing Muslim and South Asian events at the Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon. We feel we have a good way of photographing and filming all the various area of the venue, including the tunnel, waterfalls, front area, putting green and more. Although the place can be difficult to light inside due to the lack of white walls to bounce off of, we feel we do an excellent job to make the place look luxurious and beautiful.
