If we had to pick our favorite engagement session of 2016 this would be it! Kamaldeep and Mandeep chose the beautiful 17 Mile Drive in Carmel as the backdrop for their pre-wedding photo session. This pristine portion of the California Coastline is dotted with amazing photo spots where we captured these amazing images.
Kamaldeep wore a beautifully bright colored traditional Punjabi suit and Mandeep complemented her perfectly in his all black Kurta Pajama. The wind blowing through Kamal’s dupatta created some lovely drama to the shots and gave them that Bollywood vibe.
These two have been together for years and they are perfect for one another. No matter what ideas we came up with for poses or spots to shoot at, they were willing to give it a try! The most out of the box ideas became our most favorite images.
Their wedding was held at Fremont Gurdwara and pre-events, as well as, the reception was held at Chandini Banquet Hall in Newark. We captured everything from start to finish and had a blast working with them.
When the couple changed outfits for the second portion of their shoot we changed the mood up a bit and chose to shoot among the trees instead of on the beach. There, we used off camera flash to create some backlit portraits which gave the images a unique depth and style that we love to do whenever we can.
