Holly and Resh had their amazing fusion wedding at Chileno Valley Ranch in Petaluma. This venue was off the beaten path and really amazing! The Ranch has an apple orchard and a vast property with a wide open space for ceremonies and a barn for receptions.
It was an extremely hot day and all the farm animals were relaxing under the shade of a tree when we arrived in the morning. In one of the cottages, Holly got her hair and makeup done, and in the main house, all the family members and bridesmaids got ready. Resh showed up later on and we did a first look before everyone headed out to the meadow for their traditional Hindu wedding.
There were a ton of amazing decor details at Holly and Resh’s wedding including vintage furniture several unique things like an oyster station, popcorn table, live Jambalaya making, and a variety of fresh local cheeses and specialty cocktails. During cocktail hour it got really nice outside and Holly changed into a white wedding gown and cowboy boots. We got some great photos during golden hour in their outfits and then Holly changed again into Indian clothes for the reception dancing portion.
Dinner was held in the Apple Orchard and Jenn Hagan from Fine Events and Bespoke Experiences did an incredible job throughout the entire weekend. These guys were so hard working and made everything beautiful for us to photograph!
After dinner, everyone made their way into the barn for dancing! There were desserts including pies, cake, and a gelato station! Although the photo and video team got pooped on by barn owls that live in the barn (no one else got hit, just us) it was a perfect day!
