One of the venues we have been shooting a lot lately has been Hyatt Regency SFO. It’s a great place for weddings, although you can’t fly your drone there because it’s too close to SFO but otherwise, it is a good option for those wanting to get married close to a big airport and somewhere where there are lots of rooms for guests!
Kavya and Saumil had an awesome Gujarati/Telegu wedding, along with their Garba the day before the wedding. We started bright and early with the bride and groom getting ready and portraits and then we headed outside for the Baraat. The ceremony was traditional and lasted a few hours and then the couple did a Vidai, and then came back for getting ready for the reception. The party was amazing and we had a wonderful time making this film.
What we enjoyed most about this wedding was how efficient everything was and how their amazing planners, Blue Lotus Insights, made everything perfect for the couple. Even though they are based in LA, I highly recommend checking them out! They knew how to position and get everyone ready for family photos and they had a large team to be ready for any need the bride or groom may have had. We definitely want to work with them again!
Wedding Documentary specializes in capturing Indian weddings in the Bay Area, but we are especially capturing fusion weddings such as this these because we understand the rituals of all the various cultures within India. So we are perfect for your mixed ceremonies where you may have two families coming together from different cultures.
