This is our second NYE’s wedding and we definitely love the party vibe of NYE’s wedding! If you are thinking of NYE wedding, we highly recommend as you will see from the below reception photos!
The day started early for the brides getting ready, 4 am it was pitch black outside, we used OCF(Off-Camera Flash) photography for getting ready details but as soon as the sun came out we switched to natural light, the beauty of natural light photos is what we love most for getting ready photos! Our Bride had the best team to do her hair and makeup and she looked beautiful in her bridal updo and her simple but perfect makeup! She picked velvet for her wedding lehenga which is perfect for a December wedding! Most brides definitely want a chunni shot with their parents, so we made sure we captured that before we left to the gurudwara to set up for the ceremony. Our team was simultaneously shooting the groom as we were shooting the bride. We captured Baraat shots with our fusion groom on his white horse looking perfectly regal!
We also try and get some fun, creative and extra portrait shots of the bride at the temple before the ceremony starts.
After the ceremony, family photos, bridal party, and couple portraits followed by Doli ceremony.
The Reception was at the SF Design Center, a huge place located in San Francisco’s hip design district, the Galleria is known as one of the Bay Area’s best places to celebrate. It has a spectacular four-story atrium. This space is perfect for a spectacular reception bash on NYE. The balloon drop was the highlight of the NYE reception!
We got decor shots and once the couple arrived, we got quick portrait shots of them, then with family and continued on to cocktail hour which was on the second floor.
The grand entrance was on the second floor the couple walked hand in hand waving and blowing kisses to the crowd which added to the wow factor of the venue, the couple took the elevator to the first floor on the stage to join the guests on the floor. Speeches, first dance, father-daughter, and mother-son dance followed by open dancing until count down.
The count down was the highlight of the night with the balloon dropping over the crowd and everyone cheering not only congratulations to the happy couple but Happy New Year too!
