This was our first big wedding of 2023! Manasa and Akshat had their traditional Tamil/North Indian fusion wedding at Ruby Hill Golf Club in Pleasanton, CA.
We started with a few shots of the couple in their getting-ready rooms before doing a first look and some portraits outside. The entire process including family photos was less than one hour because we have to race against the clock and meet the deadlines for the ceremony to start because of the auspicious time etc.
Fortunately, although it was cold we had a nice sunrise as our backdrop! Guests then gathered for the Baraat, as the groom is from North India and they wanted to blend in some of his traditions while having a mostly traditional South Indian wedding.
The ceremony was well over three hours long and included several Sari changes as per the tradition. We live-streamed the entire event so guests and families from around the world could watch along!
After the ceremony, the couple sang some Bhajans and then lunch was served for their guests. A daytime reception followed the next day at the Saratoga Country Club.
