During the time of Covid it was very common for couples to hold events at home. One of those events was Shivani + Simir’s Engagement Ceremony, also known as a Shagun or Roka in Sikh wedding traditions.
Shivani is just like me sort of! She is half white and half Indian, except it is her mom who is Indian and for me it is my mom who is white.
We shot Simir’s sister’s wedding literally within a few months of his wedding. It was so awesome! Here is the event they held before the wedding weekend to officially become engaged!
