Daljit and Anuj are super awesome and we are so happy they invited us to photograph and film their wedding! Their wedding took place at the Fremont Gurudwara and their reception was held at the Oakland Rotunda building which is a really great spot for Indian wedding receptions in the Bay Area.
Preparations started extremely early in the morning well before sunrise. While the bride was prepping in Fremont, the groom was getting ready in Union City. Both families arrived at the temple in Fremont for the Baraat procession and then the Milni followed, which is the official coming together of the two families. The ceremony was awesome as Daljit and Anuj frequently smiled and had a great time. After the ceremony we took many group photos and guests were treated to an amazing meal by some of the best catering we have ever tried!
After the ceremony we made a pit stop for the Doli at the bride’s home and then we all headed to Oakland for the reception. We shot all the decor and guests mingling while the bride and groom changed outfits and got ready for the evening’s events. Getting shots on the rooftop was a highlight for us as it was during sunset and we captured our most favorite images there.
The grand entrance was the bride and groom coming down the grand staircase and they did their first dance to the sound of Violander playing live violin during their dance. The party continued with great fun, food, and dancing! We are so thrilled with their highlights film that is action packed with great moments and hope you enjoy it too!
