Kasturi + Chetan got married at the lovely Hakone Gardens in Saratoga, CA. This intimate venue is one of my favorites for weddings because it is so pristine and calming. All Japanese Gardens are designed to give visitors a very peaceful feeling, so they are the perfect place for weddings.
We started the day with a first look between the couple. They arrived about an hour before all the guests did so we could take photos of them before the start of the ceremony. Being sort of far from the parking lot, there really isn’t a way to do a Baraat at this venue so we started the ceremony with the groom coming to the Mandap for the Ganesh Pooja.
After the ceremony, the couple freshened up and we took some more shots during the gorgeous light that we had before the start of their reception. The remainder of the night included a few speeches and a nice relaxing dinner!
