Shinal and Milin are an amazing couple! Shinal had been following our work for years and was super excited to have us document her day when she finally met the man of her dreams!
We shot their lovely wedding at Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park. This venue is super pretty with tons of Wisteria flowers and lots of little nooks for photo ops. They are the perfect venue for intimate weddings in the Bay Area and is close to everything!
The day began with the bride getting ready at her home. We captured the final touches of her getting dressed before heading to the venue. Since they did not do a first look, we captured the details and decor, the Baraat, and then went straight into the wedding ceremony.
The wedding was a traditional Indo-Fijian style wedding. It is very similar to a Indian Hindu wedding but they have their sacred tree on the Mandap and the groom goes through some additional blessings and rituals before being led onto the Mandap.
The ceremony was followed by a nice outdoor reception and then indoor open dancing. We recommend if you are considering Allied Arts Guild for your Indian wedding, that you watch this beautiful Indo-Fijian hihlight!
