Vasudha and Sundeep had an unforgettable multi-day South Indian Telugu and Sikh wedding over Labor Day 2022 and it was a blast!
We love these types of fusion weddings because it is two extremes in terms of culture, food, and religion. It is not like two types of Hindu or North Indian Hindu and Sikh, which are similar still, this is way different!
Still, what is so nice to see is how well the couple is made for one another and how amazing their families come together!
Events included the Pelli Kuturu ceremony for the bride, her Mehndi application at home, and a Sangeet at Shannon Community Center. The Groom had his Maiyan ceremony but they did it after the South Indian Hindu ceremony which was held at the Lucie Stern Community Center. The final event was their reception at The Grand Hyatt at SFO, a hotel located right at the airport and overlooking the terminals!
