Years ago we shot Janhavi and Darshan’s wedding and we were so excited to be called when they were expecting! We decided to shoot at Alum Rock Park as it’s a not so often photographed park in San Jose.
We started right before sunset and captured images along the creek with some of the props that they brought along to the shoot. We then headed further into the park where we could shoot with the gazebo and get the setting sunlight on their backs for backlight and then I used a softbox for natural-looking fill light.
Often times at maternity shoots, couples ask about doing newborn photography. We love capturing newborns as well and recommend doing it 5-15 days after birth. Once the baby is born, simply let us know and we can set a time and date shortly after to do the shoot at your home. We did that with this couple as well shortly after the baby was born.
