This weekend was simply amazing! We got to work with this amazing couple who are so awesome and had such fun events!
The first day was their Gaye Halud (Haldi) event in the Bay Area, followed by their Sangeet night at The Palms Chico and their wedding and reception at the same venue the following day.
Since the wedding and reception were the same day, we only had around 3-4 hours total in between events to work on this film. That’s not too hard when at home with a huge monitor, comfortable chair, proper speakers etc, but this was edited at a Starbucks, on just a laptop, in a wood chair with loud distracting music and freezing air conditioning!
Fortunately the couple loved it, although we felt the in house projector at the venue was really dim and didn’t give everyone the full experience we would have hoped for. That is why we like to share our same day edits here though so you can experience it in all its glory!
