Vasudha and Sundeep had a multi-day Sikh/Hindu fusion wedding this summer and the entire week was such a blast!
For this event, the bride, who is South Indian, did her final getting ready at the San Jose Gurdwara, while the groom, who is Sikh, got ready at his home. When he arrived, they had a Baraat with a horse and made their way up the driveway of the Gurdwara for the Milni. Since there were two weddings going on at the temple this day, we had the smaller hall for the ceremony. This room actually feels more intimate and the lighting is actually better since it has lower ceilings and does not have that “greenish color cast” the larger room has.
Once the ceremony was over we took all the family photos and couples photos before they headed off back to the groom’s house for the welcoming of the bride into his family. The couple made a quick stop for photos at a park near the groom’s house and the couple did an awesome job in the 100+ degree weather we had that day.
