Abby and Christopher’s wedding was so special to me! Fifteen years earlier, we photographed her sister’s wedding and after all these years we got to be with their amazing family again!
We started the day capturing the bride’s getting ready at her Aptos home. We shot all her details, dress, and her final makeup application before heading to the venue which was at a pivate residence in Aptos. This special place with a redwood grove and tent like cabins at one time had been available for weddings but was no longer being open to events. This made Abby and Christopher’s wedding unique and exclusive because we had never been there before and probably won’t be able to do another wedding there again!
Abby and Christopher wanted their wedding to be like a party, featuring all the foods they had enjoyed on their travels. So instead of a sit down dinner, they had food stations with cuisine from around the world including, tacos, dim sum, artisanal pizzas, and more!
Their ceremony in the redwood grove was a perfect place, representing their locale in this stunning part of California where Abby grew up!
