This was a fun-filled wedding at one of our favorite venues in Napa, Meritage Resort and Spa!
We will be sharing some pre-events from this wedding on the blog as well, but this event was the Hindu wedding and reception and it was amazing!
The day started bright and early with the bride and groom getting ready shots! We had plenty of time to capture their details, portraits, and first look, before moving on to the couple’s portraits all before the Baraat.
We used the haze from all the fires going on to our advantage and we had nice soft beautiful light all weekend! The shots we got of the couple and their bridal party are spectacular at this venue in Napa! Anything that involves vineyards, rolling hills, and olive trees, we are down for it!
The ceremony took place at the site Meritage has created for weddings up on the hill. It has a nice view of the surrounding area and is far enough away from the venue that you get some privacy from other hotel guests.
Once the ceremony was over everyone went back to their rooms to prepare for the reception that night. We stayed with the couple throughout the day to capture their reception outfits and capture them getting ready for the night. Once they were ready we did a photo shoot with them around the property before having them enter for the grand entrance.
The night included lots of great speeches, performances, and tons of dancing!
We love photographing and filming weddings at Meritage in Napa and think it is the perfect venue for close-to-home destination Indian weddings!
