Every time we book a wedding we feel like it’s a huge honor! For most people their wedding day is the most special day of their lives, only to be trumped by the birth of their children later down the road. We are so thankful for all the wonderful clients that choose us to be their wedding photographers and cinematographers and we do our very best to ensure we preserve their memories as best as we possibly can.
There is one honor which is even greater though and that is being hired again by the same family to do the wedding of a past client’s sibling. That is what happened in this case for Anuja and Sandeep’s wedding. A year ago we photographed Aarti’s wedding, which is Anuja’s older sister. We were so excited to hear that both Anuja and her twin became engaged shortly after Aarti’s wedding. When it was time for Anuja to book her wedding photographer and cinematographer we were so happy they called upon Wedding Documentary for their events! They have simply the most amazing family that we have ever met and we were thrilled to work with them again!
Hopefully, you have seen the other blog posts below of their Mehndi night, and Sangeet! Now it’s time for the Wedding! All the events took place at the San Jose Fairmont Hotel in downtown San Jose. Both the bride and groom prepared for their day in separate rooms and then the groom headed downstairs for the start of the Baraat, or procession on the way to the Mandap, which is the Holy site where the ceremony takes place.
The ceremony took place indoors and lasted a little over an hour. After which we headed in a limo to the San Jose Rose Garden for some portraits. The decor was simply stunning with a blue ocean theme and we took a ton of photos of all their details. Once the party started their were lots of great speeches, performances, cake cutting, and dancing! The hit of the night was the Photo booth that made flip books.
We are so honored to be part of these special events and to be able to create art that will be a permanent part of their family history. Thanks so much Anuja and Sandeep and we cannot wait to share their gorgeous highlights reel very soon!
