Ayesha and Abdullah are an adorable couple that we had the pleasure of photographing recently and we super excited to share this event on the blog! They had three days of events including an intimate Nikkah ceremony, the Mehendi night, and finally this event, the Valima (wedding reception).
The event was held at the Fremont Marriott, a popular place for receptions in the Bay Area that is centrally located and easy to get to from anywhere in the Bay Area.
We started with the couple’s portraits and decor shots before guests arrived. The natural light in the rooms is also really nice so we used their suite for a few shots and even the hallway, where they have installed a swing!
This Valima included entrances, speeches, a message from their Imam, and lots of photo taking on stage! Sugar Mama ice cream supplied lots of amazing ice cream and everyone had a great time!
