Deepika’s Mehndi day was the start of her 4-day wedding festivities. Deepika and Bharat are the sweetest and the coolest couple that trusted us completely and gave us free rein to capture all their events in “Wedding Documentary style” and they got a variety of beautiful photos. We had a team of three (Rashmi, Vijay and Joseph) at her event doing photo and video.
Deepika looked beautiful in her fishtail braid by Anamika Dubb decorated with the prettiest baby’s breath. This hairdo look works for any pre-event and is a must-have look for any modern bride. She did her own makeup which was amazing and we would like to make a special mention about her beautiful real eye lashes. Full, long and beautiful lashes so she didn’t even need any falsies! Deepika is also a bay area designer and she designed all her pre-wedding and wedding outfits.
The beautiful backdrop that her family put together was amazing and made for a beautiful backdrop for photos while getting her henna done and for posed shots as well.
Her Mehndi was by talented Hussain Maaz, her henna was halfway done when we arrived, we took shots of her getting rest of the henna done, some artistic shooting through things, different angles, perspective and lenses made for a variety of shots. We also like to capture family and friends with the bride while she is getting her henna done. Parents, siblings, and close friends are some of the key shots we like to capture.
Deepika is a trained classical Kathak dancer and we incorporated some of her dance poses in the photos.
Beautiful golden hour made for some stunning sunkissed photos as well.
We ended the night with the cutest first look with our couple and a fun lounging shot of the duo to end the night!
