Happy New Year from Wedding Documentary Photo + Cinema!
2012 was a fantastic year for us. Our best ever! We worked with so many wonderful couples for weddings, engagements, family sessions, newborn shoots and more! We are super pumped for 2013 and can’t wait to even have more amazing things to share with our clients and fans on our blog and website.
Our first post of the year is for Deepika and Chirag’s 3 day Indian wedding that took place at Casa Real in Pleasanton. Day 1 below is the bride’s Mehndi party at her home in Alamo, CA. Neeta Desai Sharma did amazing Mehndi on the bride’s hands and feet. Neeta always does custom designs for her brides so it is an extraordinary experience for the bride, Neeta, and myself! She is so talented that I can stare at these images for hours and always find something new each time that I did not see before.
Once the bride has complete Mehndi we like to do a mini-photo shoot so we can get some great shots of the completed design. Being cold since this was a winter wedding means we have to be able to work fast and since it gets dark so early, off-camera lighting is essential to getting interesting lighting outside.
