Elena and Jordan had a beautiful wedding in Del Mar at L’Auberge Luxury Resort and invited us to capture their special day! We were so excited to come down to Southern California for their wedding events because we had such a wonderful time working with them during our engagement session at Shark Fin Cove in Davenport.
Jordan’s mom planned a lot of the wedding since Elena and Jordan are both busy in the medical field and have hectic schedules. Jordan just got his PhD and they are both on their way to having successful careers. Jordan’s mom has wonderful taste and chose exquisite decor and planned everything beautifully.
The ceremony took place right along the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It was just a short walk down the street from the venue, and they did a Louisiana music line on the way back up to the resort for Cocktail Hour. We had an amazing portrait session during sunset before the couple went up for their grand entrance. A live band accompanied them for much of the night and one of our all time favorite shots is when Jordan lifted Elena up during their first dance and they both have beautiful smiles. It is the perfect candid moment.
