2023 started off with a bang for Dimple and Drew’s big weekend! This was a three-day event that included home pre-events, a Hindu wedding followed by Garba, and then finally, a Western ceremony and formal reception!
In this post we will share the Hindu wedding and Garba that was held at the Shannon Community Center in Dublin, CA.
We started at the couple’s hotel where we captured them getting ready! We love these moments with family helping them get ready before the ceremony. We then headed to the venue for their first look. During this time, the couple gets some alone time and we get to take lots of photos of them before the guests arrive.
For the Baraat, the groom came in a car and we loved the energy of all the American guests!
The ceremony was conducted by Nilesh Pandya who is our favorite Pandit in the Bay Area. He has the ceremony down to a “T” and makes it fun and entertaining, traditional, yet easy to understand and appreciate.
Right after the ceremony the couple changed and came back during cocktail hour for their Garba night! A live band played all night and we got thousands of shots of everyone dancing!
All in all, it was a great way to start off the year, and look forward to all the events we have lined up this year!
