Saira + Karthik Grand Hindu Wedding | Castlewood Country Club

Saira and Karthik are a super-sweet couple who had been together for years leading up to their wedding! They planned an amazing event at Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton and had us capture all three days of their events!

It was a perfect sunny day and the couple got ready at the venue so we could capture all their details and the story of the day! They decided to share personalized letters which allowed for a nice personal touch in their films and something we highly recommend couples do.

Prior to their photoshoot, they did a first look to see each other all dressed up for the first time and then we proceeded to get lots of great shots around the venue. The stunning oak tree above the mandap, is the hallmark of the venue and was a great place to take their photos without going too far. The other great spot is the driveway that is lined with palm trees and is another favorite spot of ours to shoot.

The Baraat was a hot one as the day started to heat up, but before too long, guests were in the shade of the giant oak tree for the ceremony. The lighting for the ceremony was spectacular and the open design of the mandap meant we could get lots of amazing shots!

After the ceremony the couple did more photos on the mandap with guests and then together, but then they had to change for the reception. During this time we shoot cocktail hour, decor, and prepare our lights and camera spots for the reception. Once the couple is ready we do another shoot and then the party begins!

We love this venue because it is off the beaten path and feels very private. The surroundings are stunning so drone shots look amazing as well! Of course we could not have had such a successful event if it weren’t for Amrit from Anais Events who did a wonderful job planning!
