This is the main event you have been waiting for! Veena and Pritesh’s beautiful Gujarati Hindu wedding ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Monterey! It was a fun-filled three days and we had so much fun!
The morning of the wedding, we simply walked over from our hotel room to Veena’s and shot her details while she got her hair and makeup done by Christal from Artistry by Christal. We then headed over to Pritesh’s room to get some shots of him but he didn’t nearly as much time as the bride! Since there is a golf course right outside the room, we headed outside to do some bridal portraits of the bride.
After the Baraat, the bride and groom did a fun garland exchange outside and then everyone proceeded inside for the ceremony. I loved how they did their beautiful Mandap with the runway. What made it extra special was that they had candles lining the entire runway. That made it work well for us to get lots of creative shots through the vases and candlelight.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom changed and we did another shoot with them prior to the start of the reception. We also got some cool drone shots for their film as well. Once the party started, there was lots of entertainment, speeches, and dancing. Joya Kazi, the Bay Area native who has been super successful in teaching and performing Bollywood dance, put on an awesome show and everyone had a fabulous time!
