Nikita and Karthik had a week’s worth of events up in northern California, as well as, down in Santa Barbara. You can see their South Indian style ceremony here in our last post! Since the groom is Kannadiga and the bride is Rajasthani they did two different Hindu weddings to celebrate their cultures. All of the Southern Indian events were on by the groom’s side and occurred in Northern California and the Rajasthani style events were set to take place down in Santa Barbara.
We are so happy we got to travel down Highway 1 and take in the beautiful scenery on the way there. They had lovely events, full of color, good food, and entertainment.
Hilton Waterfront Resort (previously Fess Parker) was a great venue for their wedding events. The layout of everything is great for Indian weddings and is conveniently located right across the street from the beach. Finding all the great photo spots around the hotel was super easy and gave us lots of fresh ideas to explore.
For Nikita’s wedding, we were also excited to work with our favorite makeup artist, Lulu from Dolled by Lulu. She is based out of LA and is such a pleasure to work with. Her makeup rocks and she always makes brides look amazing.
We love Santa Barbara and hope to go back many more times for future events. Fess Parker Indian weddings are so much fun and got shots that I know Nikita and Karthik will cherish for a lifetime.
Are you having an Indian wedding in Santa Barbara? If so, give us a shout. We would love to hear from you!
