This was a super fun wedding at Silver Creek Country Club on a hot day in the summertime!
Mayura and Dev had to postpone their big fat Indian wedding due to Covid 19 and had a small ceremony during that time, but wanted to celebrate with a traditional Hindu wedding and reception. We loved capturing this lively event and their radiant smiles!
Both of them came almost completely ready but we shot some getting ready in the bridal suite before heading down to the waterfalls for their first look and photo shoot!
When time is short and it is hot, you have to be quick to get your shots because you cannot have the couple melt prior to the ceremony! We had a wonderful shoot where we got a ton of great shots on both photo and cinema and then proceeded to go back up to the main clubhouse for the start of the Baraat!
We love shooting Indian weddings at Silver Creek Country Club because of how pristine the grounds are, how great the views are, and how great the Baraat photos come out! There are lots of unique angles one can shoot here as compared to just a flat standard parking lot.
The ceremony was conducted by the best Hindu Pandit in the Bay Area, Nileshji Pandya. We have a great relationship with him that makes it so we get the best shots of all the important moments.
After the ceremony, the couple had to quickly change for the reception. We then wanted to capture the sunset with them so went back to the waterfalls but on the backside for a different perspective. Using flash we got really epic shots with the colorful sky!
Once we got back to the clubhouse the couple did their grand entrance and there were beautiful dances and speeches, including an awesome dance by the bride herself!
