Kamaldeep got her Mehndi done at her home by one of our favorite artists, Neeta Desai Sharma. Neeta is so amazing because she does a wide variety of designs on her brides. She can take literally any idea, and make extraordinary art with it. She is also really personable and fun to chat with while she does the henna on the brides.
Kamaldeep is gorgeous and there was amazing natural light flowing in the windows into her living room. we had a pretty backdrop set up by Raman from R&R Event Rentals and cool pillows and other props to use while capturing Kamaldeep’s henna being done. Once Kamaldeep’s hands were complete, we took her outside to get some shots during golden hour before the sun went down. We got amazing shots of Kamaldeep as she layed down on her front lawn that was made of asto turf. The soft material was perfect for us to get these shots and do something unique and different.
The swing set up by R&R Rentals was also the perfect posing spot for Kamaldeep and we got some really cool shots there as well once her Mehndi was complete. Our signature shot is to the do the “spray shot”, in which we light up the lemon and sugar spray that Neeta sprays on the henna to keep it from drying out. It is my all time favorite shot and adds a lot of wow factor to the Mehndi shots.
