While the pandemic was going on, we were so happy to capture the traditional Sikh wedding of Kamalneel + Jagdeep in Bakersfield, CA at the Gurdwara Guru Angad Darbar.
This couple are super nice and chill and were so fun to work with! They had a week long worth of events lined up so we stayed in Bakersfield and captured them all!
The Sikh temple in Bakersfield is really nice and was newly renovated and it was nice to shoot there because it has a lot of space around the book and a large Langar hall.
It was very hot, well over 100 degrees so we used shady spots for their post ceremony photo shoot before going back to the house to play games. Since the groom is from Seattle they had rented a house in Bakersfield where they could do some welcome ceremony rituals but they also had more events weeks later in Seattle.
