In this post we are sharing the last installment of Kriti and Amit’s wedding at the San Jose Fairmont Hotel in downtown San Jose. Outside the hotel, Christmas in the Park attracted visitors from all over. There were carnival rides, games, and lots of Christmas decorations.
Both the bride and groom got ready and then we headed downstairs to do the first look, but not before Kriti had a few mimosas to get her ready for her big day! Fortunately, we had a lot of time for portraits prior to the ceremony, which was totally awesome! We did portraits of the couple, bridal party, family, and even took some shots outside and even got on some rides!
The Baraat was a fun spectacle for tourists as it took place right out front of the hotel. Once we headed inside, the ceremony began with the Ganesh Pooja and then Kriti came down the aisle with her bridesmaids and the main part of the ceremony began. The colors of the backdrop were really bold and we loved how the images have a beautiful filmic look to them.
The decor for the reception included a beautiful blue and lots of orchids! It was a lot of fun to photograph and we spent a good chunk of time capturing all their details in the Imperial Ballroom. The reception room was absolutely gorgeous and Ambiance by Tejel did a great job of coordinating the event.
All of the performances were top notch, as Joya Kazi was the choreographer behind many of them and she is an up and coming professional dancer from the SF Bay Area. This gave us lots of photo opportunities to capture some beautiful images.
We were really happy to get some portraits of the bride and groom outside at Christmas in the Park. It is always fun to get outside and include some of the beautiful Christmas lights. Inside, everyone on the dance floor had lights to play with too as everyone received glow sticks during the reception.
