Happy Friday! This weekend we are assuming that you are going to be watching the Super Bowl and having a party! For those that like to visit our blog or are planning your wedding, we have a ton of new images to share with you!
One of our most recent weddings is from Priya and Sriram’s South Indian Hindu wedding that was held at the new building at the Livermore Hindu Temple. Their wedding was actually the first wedding to be performed in this new state of the art building. It is such a great new spot and the lighting is wonderful. The room was totally clean and easy to shoot in. We still need to work with them on their audio set up as it is not videographer friendly at this time, but we bypassed their audio system completely and made it work just fine.
In the start of the day both the bride and groom prepared at the hotel before heading to the temple for their pre-wedding ceremonies. Priya had to pray to Lord Vishnu and Ganesh for quite a while as Sriram went through his own series of rituals outside. Once the ceremony began it was a traditional South Indian style ceremony that lasted several hours. Once the ceremony was complete we grabbed a few portraits and then it was lunch time! I used to not like South Indian food as much but over the past couple of years I have started to really love it and now can’t imagine not loving it! It’s so yummy!
The following day was the wedding reception which took place at one of our favorite venues, Palm Event Center in Pleasanton. This venue has a gorgeous rustic, yet classy feel to it. We love the Palm trees lining the driveway, as well as, the brick work on the walls of the tasting room, and the wine barrel decor. We got a ton of great portraits outside before the bride and groom entered which was so important because to me, that is why you have your event here in the first place!
Again the food was magnificent and there were great speeches, performances, and dancing until the end of the night where the bride and groom made a formal exit with sparklers on both sides!
Myrium made Priya look amazing and Toofan Sounds rocked the house. These are two of our favorite vendors and when it comes to your wedding, we recommend running, not walking to book them for your event! We definitely had an A-Team at this wedding and that is why the images look so great!
