Ruhi and Samir held their luxury Indian wedding at Nestldown in Los Gatos, CA and Wedding Documentary Photo + Cinema was there to capture all these precious moments in an unobtrusive and real way!

The couple got ready at the Doubletree San Jose before heading into the Los Gatos hills to get to Nestldown. It is an exclusive venue that “if you know, you know”, is basically one of the best wedding venues in all the Bay Area.

Known for it’s stunning lakes and flowers, it has rustic charm with a high end feel. The day was simply perfect and we captured all the amazing colors of the bride’s dress, the decor, and the beautiful scenery.

The baraat goes through the dense redwood trees and ends at a small bridge where the two families meet and exchnage garlands. Once the guests are seated and the groom is on the Mandap, the bride walks down the grand natural staircase with her father and it is one of our favorite images to capture!

After the beautiful Hindu wedding, guests are invited up on to the area around the main barn and lake. The couple then made their grand entrance via train, which is another fun and unique aspects of this venue.

While the guests mingled, we took tons of shots of family and friends and all the decor for the reception. They kept everything outside, including dinner and speeches and did not go inside until first dance and open dancing to end the night.
