Saira + Karthik’s Sangeet was perfect in every way!
First off, it was just down the street from us in Saratoga, so we were there in less than 10 minutes! Saira’s family home is amazing and they had Amrit from Anais Events totally transform their backyard and tennis court into a Sangeet oasis! They even had a rickshaw out front for guests to take photos with. That was super cool!
We already knew Karthik because we had shot his sister’s wedding a couple of years earlier, so it was such an honor to be called back by this amazing family for Saira and Karthik’s wedding. They are a really fun couple and super cute. They are truly in love and it shows in all their photos!
We started like we always do, shooting decor and portraits of the couple and the family before all the guests arrive. Jalsa set up food stations and we were able to capture all the food perfectly laid out along with all the custom-designed menus and labels for all the items.
When it came down to the actual Sangeet part, everything was short and sweet. There were a couple of dances and then the dance floor opened! We got a ton of great shots and loved working with this couple.
