One of our favorite venues for Indian weddings is the Fairmont Hotel in Downtown San Jose. It has all the amenities you could ever want, a great location, and a nice ambience for weddings large and small. This year we had many weddings at Fairmont and we had a great time at all of them! One of our favorites was Archana and Kevin’s wedding!
The day started with the getting ready shots of both the bride and groom. Archana being from South India, she wore a beautiful Sari and flower hair piece that extended all the way down her back. She was also adorned with a gold belt, gold armbands, and a stunning necklace.
The first look in the hallway between the towers was a ton of fun as they are cute and silly together. Then Kevin had to go downstairs for his Baraat, while Archana awaited to come down the aisle in a Dholi.
The ceremony was a traditional South Indian Hindu ceremony with Shennai music. After the ceremony we did photos on the Mandap and then took the couple for a few portraits before they went to change and get ready for the reception.
Prior to them making their grand entrance we took the couple outside for some shots are my all time favorites! Archana’s dress matched the flowers perfectly we got some great ones with the water in the foreground etc.
The reception was beautifully decorated and the speeches and dances were a ton of fun! All in all it was a great day and we wish these two the very best!
