We were excited to shoot Sandhya and Abhay’s reception at the architectural masterpiece that is, the Julia Morgan Ballroom. They had their wedding ceremony in India and had their reception ceremony in San Francisco. The Julia Morgan Ballroom is San Francisco’s most exclusive special event venue.
Sandhya wore a combination of blue and turquoise blue lehenga for her reception. We got some great getting ready shots and couple portrait shots, both indoors and outdoors. Indoors with the fabulous Julia Morgan Ballroom architecture as the backdrop and outdoors with the city’s signature cable car in the background.
The table decor was reminiscent of signature south Indian Heritage with handcrafted wooden elephant figurines and beautiful rose petals and sparkling tea light candles as the center piece.
The night ended with speeches, dancing and the happy couple and their guests having fun and getting great shots with the party favors.
