We had the pleasure of shooting Shaina and Tarun’s events over three days. One of their events was their Garba night! The event was held at the ICC in Milpitas.
Shooting Garba is a lot of fun! We get to capture all the amazing colors and flowing dresses as the dancers spin around for hours on end. We love dragging our shutter to get blurred dresses while keeping the faces sharp with the use of flash. There are lots of photographic techniques we get to explore and play with at a Garba, that you may not do at another event.
The freedom to create and be unique is what inspires us so much. We love photographing Indian weddings in the San Francisco Bay Area and love sharing those images here on our blog.
